Hura Beach is one of the elite KiteSurf schools, founded and managed by Joseph Carneiro, a former professional athlete and IKO-certified examiner with over 23 years of experience in the sport. He has already trained more than 300 instructors worldwide. Our training program offers the most comprehensive lessons available, with a focus on safety and fun, so you can learn everything you need to know to become an independent kiteboarder while enjoying yourself. Our excellent team consists of qualified instructors ready to guide you through all the IKO lessons, designed to maximize your time and help you learn to practice kitesurfing with confidence. Discovery Lesson
Discover how to “Master the Power of the Win
Do you want to discover the sport and learn how to master the wind? The IKO instructor will introduce various aspects of the sport and teach you to refine various skills on land before getting into the water, while also learning the safety rules. They will ensure you learn to stay safe by showing you how to assess the wind and physical location, use safety systems, take care of the proper equipment, as well as assemble and control the training kite
- 4 hours of lessons
- Free 30-minute theoretical lesson
- Private and group lessons with all equipment included (kite, bar, board, helmet, safety jacket, harness)
- All private lessons (initial water level) are conducted with the radio helmet (Bbtalking)
- IKO Kiteboarder card will be issued to the student upon completion of the course
- All group lessons will have a maximum of 2 students (with a Certified Assistant)

Learn to harness the power of your kite in the water!
Ready to hit the water? It’s time for your first water-start. Get ready to unlock the full potential of the wind’s force. You will learn how to use the kite’s power for body-dragging in all possible directions, relaunch your kite in the water, perform self-rescue, retrieve your board, and become proficient in the MOST VALUABLE SKILL IN KITEBOARDING: sailing on your own!

Independent Lesson
Navigate independently and learn some tricks, like your first jump!
The more you learn, the more pleasure you’ll have. It’s time to become an independent kitesurfer! The IKO instructor will show you how to edge, ride toeside, and attempt your first jump while also helping you focus on advanced skills like speed control through carving, changing direction without stopping, and safely launching and landing on your own. As an independent kitesurfer, you’ll be able to ride on your own and rent equipment wherever you go.

Evolution Hydrofoil
Sailing on the flying carpet
Are you tired of choppy waters, getting wet, and now you want to fly? The hydrofoil course won’t necessarily keep you dry, but it will help you master the art of flying. Hydrofoil sailing has quite a learning curve. No matter your level of kitesurfing, it’s important to take a professional course to learn how to sail with a hydrofoil. In this course, you will learn the theory, board handling, proper body-drag techniques, how to sail, and only then the advanced skills to navigate with style!
